Overhead Patient Lift

Overhead patient lifts are permanent power lifts that move along a fixed track installed to the ceiling. Like other patient lifts, overhead lifts are designed to assist with the transfer of patients unable to safely move themselves. These lifts would work well in a care facility or personal residence. These lifts have a weight capacity ranging from 350 - 660 pounds.

Because the lift runs along a track that is installed, these lifts aren’t able to be moved from room to room as easily as other power lifts. A patient sling and rail system would also need to be purchased before an overhead lift could be used properly.
